Anti - Music Review (Rihanna)

"Anti" the eighth studio album by Rihanna is by far her best album! Even if you are not a Rihanna fan,this is the perfect opportunity to start up with.

The album opens with the song "Consideration" a dub-inspired song sung by her in a unique Barbadian accent which by the way I love a lot.So this song works for me. The second song titled "James Joint" is rather a short and sweet track backed by some wonderful piano,providing it a jazzy-feel.

The album offers it's best in the form of "Work", a highly catchy and addictive song with ample amount of beats which ensure that it stays with you for a long-long time.The song is a sure-shot chartbuster and trust me guys,you will not be able to stop yourself from listening to it on a loop.Drake's rap portion also complements the track well taking it to new heights!

"Kiss It Better","Woo" and "Desperado" offer myriad amount of emotions backed by brilliant lyrics but yeah they will take some time to grow on you. "Needed Me" is the second most favourite track of mine from the album,after "Work" and in fact lyrics-wise this is the best song of the album.Old -school Rihanna at her best.

The same nostalgia continues with "Yeah,I Said It" and "Same Old Mistakes" which not only a typical Rihanna fan but anybody who is a layman and new to the R&B genre will endure.

Towards the end the album gears up and offers although short but mesmerizing songs like "Never Ending" and "Love On The Brain" ; both of them are capable of creating a lasting impression on you."Higher" and "Close To You" are a perfect finale to the album and like any good finale,they make you crave for more!

Overall this is a wonderful album and by far the best album of 2016! In fact going by the pattern of the Grammys,I will be shocked if this album is not nominated in any of the categories.Listen it to feel it! What Taylor Swift did with 1989,Rihanna does the same with Anti,in fact a little more than that!

Also guys a special request ,make it a point to buy the audio CD of the album because the package includes a wonderful poster and some beautiful sketches and artwork.One of the finest packages of all time!
