Wilder Mind - Mumford & Sons Review

Well I have a confession to make,I have been a fan of Mumford & Sons for a long time. There are not many bands who play quality Indie Rock but thankfully Mumford & Sons are one of those who play some really good and inspiring Indie music, that too passionately, keeping in mind their fans!So when I received their latest album, I was as happy as a child!Enough with the intro, here is the review.

The first song Tompkins Square Park  is a delight to listen ,wonderfully orchestrated, divine lyrics, everything about it is top notch!Same goes for Believe and The Wolf - both of them are incredibly awesome. You can't stop yourself from listening to them again and again..The title track Wilder Mind is a unique track because you don't hear this genre and this type of arrangement nowadays .It takes the album to a new level. You have to listen it a couple of times to feel its "essence".Just Smoke and Monster are good to the ears but they are not "groundbreaking" stuff.Still they can easily be a part of your iPod.
The second "half" of the album offers relatively fresh sounds that are new for Mumford & Sons.Prime example of this are the tracks - Snake Eyes,Broad Shouldered Breasts and Cold Arms. There is so much of freshness that I listened to them for numerous times on loop! The last ones to follow are Ditmas,Only Love and Hot Gates which provide the album a perfect end or as they say, "a dreamy finish."

The final word on this album- Wait a second, do you really want to know this? This review should be a milliblog and I should be acting like a miser when it comes to using words but while writing it ,I completely forgot about the word limit! This bears perfect testimony to the supremacy of this album. It's a perfect album for the season.Just sit back on your couch, have a cup of coffee, watch the rains pouring from the sky and listen to this album and drown yourself in the ocean of some quality Indie music! What are you waiting for,go grab your copies before they last! Otherwise you will have to regret later on because as far as I know this is a best seller already.I genuinely feel that this is by far the best album of this year and even Rolling Stone and Billboard have the same opinion! I am no expert but they definitely are so listen to them and GO and Grab your copies, wait a second ,not "Go and Grab your copies" , "Run and Grab your copies." 45 minutes of pure pleasure.Adroitness in it's true form!I really can write 10 more pages on it's excellence but I will stop now otherwise all your fun will get spoiled.

My Rating-  4/5

Picks-  Tompkins Square Park,Believe,The Wolf,Wilder Mind,Broad Shouldered Breasts,Ditmas,Only Love,Hot Gates

Bajrangi Bhaijaan Music Review (Pritam)

Well I always look forward to Salman Khan's movies because they boast of some terrific tunes but sadly that's not true with this one.Selfie Le Re tries to be catchy but fails miserably.Tu Chahiye is your typical Atif Aslam song but this time with an electronic touch to it.Bhar Do Jholi Meri is divine and the only saving grace of the album.Aaj Ki Party and The Chicken Song are amateurish and do not sound like they are composed by Pritam.
Zindagi and Tu Jo Mila are soothing tracks ,although not perfect but still likable.

Picks-Tu Chahiye,Bhar Do Jholi,Zindagi

Bangistan Music Review (Ram Sampath)

So here we have the first review of our blog.Hope you like it!

The first track "Ishq Karenge" and it's EDM version sound pleasant and the former sounds like a modern Quawwali and second has a modern feel to it.Plesant listen!

The second song "Hogi Kranti" sounds like an Ad Jingle but hopefully the funny and quirky lyrics save it!Saturday Night is a waste of your time whereas Maula tries to move you through its sad , melodramatic feel. The last two songs Is Duniya se Ladna hai and Meri Jid are rock ballads where heavy instrumentation is used! Some may like it,some (like me) will not.

PICKS- Ishq Karenge (BOTH The Versions),Hogi Kranti

Hello Music Geeks!

"Geeks " as mentioned in the title is a big word.It has a lot of implications. It means someone who is obsessed or has a mania for something.
In my case its music.Since childhood I have a habit to listen songs of a variety of languages,be it Hindi,English,Tamil,Telugu,Bengali,French,Latin and so.You must be thinking I am being obnoxious but believe me the above mentioned fact is completely true.
There  are many like me out there and this blog will help them to identify between good music and bad music. As they say "You don't have enough time to listen to bad music."So follow my blog and enjoy some divine music.
